SCHOOL CHOICE 1

Outcomes

  • Elementary: By the end of SY 2024-2025, the percentage of students with disabilities meeting or exceeding VALLSS screener benchmarks will increase 5 percentage points from fall 2024 to spring 2025.
  • Middle: By the end of SY 2024-2025, the percentage of students with disabilities making expected yearly growth, of 75-100 Lexiles, will increase by 5 percentage points from fall to spring on the Reading Inventory. 

Strategies

  • Increase use of data to plan instruction and monitor progress for students demonstrating risk. 
  • Improve daily, systematic, explicit instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, and morphology.
  • Improve collaborative teams’ alignment of instructional planning based on analysis of formative and standardized assessments.

 

SCHOOL CHOICE 2

Outcomes

  • Elementary: By the end of the SY 2024-25, 75% students with disabilities will improve performance on at least two domains on the math screener between fall and spring administrations. 
  • Middle: By the end of SY 2024-2025, the percentage of students with disabilities improving their performance rating from 'Below Basic' to 'Basic', 'Proficient', or 'Advanced' on the Math Inventory will increase 5 percentage from fall to spring on the Math Inventory.

  • Improve daily, systemic, explicit instruction across all math domains.
  • Improve collaborative teams' alignment of instructional planning based on analysis of formative and standardized assessments.

 

SCHOOL CHOICE 3

Outcomes

  • By the end of SY 2024-2025, Burke students will show a 5% increase in their daily academic engagement scores between Q1 and Q4 as measured by PBIS data tracking tools. 

Strategies

  • Increase interdisciplinary opportunities to build language and SEL skill development across content area and throughout the school day. 
  • Expand use of conversation structures to increase academic talk and build relationships among students. 
  • Regular review of PBIS practices and expectations.
